reflection_matrix(paths, mesh, frequency, *, solver=None, **solver_kwargs)

Compute the per-bounce reflection transition matrix for each path bounce.

Parameters:

• paths (TracedPaths) – The paths.

• mesh (Mesh) – The triangle mesh of the scene.

• frequency (Float[ArrayLike, "*#batch"]) – The operating frequency (or frequencies) in Hz.

• solver (GeometricFieldSolver | None) – The field solver instance, or None.

• **solver_kwargs (Any) – Keyword arguments passed to GeometricFieldSolver when solver is None.

Return type:

Complex[Array, "*batch order 2 2"]

Returns:

One 2x2 reflection matrix per bounce.
